This study aims to determine the total phenolic content, SPF value of gambier leaf extract in vitro and antibacterial activity against Propionibacterium acnes. Gambier leaf extract was made using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. Total phenolic content and sunscreen activity were tested by measuring absorption using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, while the antibacterial activity test used the agar well method. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to test phenolic levels and SPF values, while for antibacterial activity using SPSS 25 with the One Way Anova test. The results showed that the total phenolic content of gambier leaf extract was 1.3322 mgGAE/g ± 0.2456 with ultra-protective SPF values at concentrations of 120, 100 and 80 ppm respectively, namely 31,94; 22,62; and 15,24. Gambir leaf extract has antibacterial activity against Propionibacterium acnes with inhibitory diameters at concentrations of 50, 25 and 12.5% respectively, namely 23,67; 18,00; and 14,57 mm.
shoraya anis wulandari Sumarsono, Endang Sri Rejeki, Destik Wulandari Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Komunitas Farmasi Nasional https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/jkfn/article/view/104 Mon, 08 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 ANALYSIS MANAGEMENT OF DAMAGED DRUGS, EXPIRED DRUG AND DEAD STOCK IN PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN PONTIANAK CITY https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/jkfn/article/view/113
Inefficient drug management can lead to budget overlap and inappropriate drug use. This results in a reduced availability of drugs, drugs accumulate due to inappropriate drug planning, and drug costs become expensive due to irrational use of drugs. Based on this, it shows that the percentage of damaged drugs, expired drugs, and dead stock drugs relatively high, so further research is needed on drug management. This study aims to describe and analyze the percentage of damaging drugs, expired drugs, and dead stock drugs in the UPTD of the Pontianak City Health Center. This study is a descriptive analysis with retrospective data collection by observing and evaluating data on damaged drugs, expired drugs, and dead stock drugs in 2020. The results showed no defective drugs were found in UPTD Puskesmas S and B, expired drugs in UPTD Puskesmas S and B. 15.4% and 16.7%, and dead stock in UPTD B was 3.3% and there was no dead stock in UPTD Puskesmas S. this study concluded that the percentage of damaged drugs was following the research indicators, namely 0%, the percentage Expired drugs and dead stock drugs are not following the research indicators, namely 0%, this is caused by several factors including changes in prescribing patterns and expiration dates that are too close, so it is necessary to evaluate drug planning according to to needs and improve management of expired drug management and stock is dead.
heny puspasari, Weni Puspita Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Komunitas Farmasi Nasional https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/jkfn/article/view/113 Mon, 08 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY TEST OF LOTION ETANOL EXTRACT OF PISANG KEPOK FLOWERS (Musa acuminata x M. balbisiana) USING DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryilhydrazyl) METHODS https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/jkfn/article/view/116
Kepok banana flower (Musa acuminate x M. balbisiana) is known to contain flavonoid, polyvenol and saponin compounds that function as antioxidants.
