However, understanding the importance of IPR and the registration procedures remains a challenge in higher education settings, including among faculty and students in the Performing Arts Education Program. This community service activity aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and awareness of intellectual property protection through outreach on IPR registration strategies. The event was held on December 9, 2025, at the Performing Arts Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University, using methods such as outreach sessions, discussions, Q&A sessions, and guidance on IPR registration. Participants included faculty members and students who have creative works with the potential to receive legal protection. The results of the event demonstrated an increase in participants’ understanding of the types of IPR, registration procedures, administrative requirements, and the benefits of legal protection for intellectual property. This event also encouraged participants to begin identifying and registering their works, thereby supporting the strengthening of academic culture, creativity, and the protection of intellectual property rights within the university community.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
Dwi Oktariani Nurmilasari Djau Imam Ghozali Mastri Dihita Sagala Egi Putri Grandena Zakarias Aria Widyatama Putra Asfar Munir Chiristianly Yery Silaban Aline Rizky Oktaviari Mega Cantik Putri Aditya Imma Fretisari Regaria Tindarika Ismunandar Yudhistira Oscar Olendo Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Indonesia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-30 2026-07-30 6 01 SOSIALISASI PEMANFAATAN BAHAN ALAM LOKAL UNTUK MENCEGAH CACINGAN DI DESA MEGA TIMUR, KECAMATAN SUNGAI AMBAWANG, KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA, KALIMANTAN BARAT https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/japin/article/view/263
Helminthiasis remains a significant public health concern, particularly among children. However, synthetic colorants may pose health risks and have adverse environmental impacts, highlighting the need for natural colorants that are non-toxic, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly. One potential natural colorant is butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea L.), a flowering plant characterized by its distinctive blue to purple petals and rich anthocyanin content, which serves as a natural coloring agent.

This community service program aimed to provide education and improve the knowledge of the target participants, namely children living at the Bumi Nusantara Orphanage Foundation in Bengkulu, regarding the utilization of butterfly pea flowers as a natural food colorant with various bioactive compounds and health benefits.

Data were collected using a pre-test questionnaire administered before the educational session and a post-test questionnaire distributed after the session to evaluate participants' knowledge and responses. The results demonstrated that the community service activity successfully increased participants' understanding and interest in the use of butterfly pea flowers as a natural food colorant. This was reflected in the post-test results, in which 100% of the participants stated that the information provided was beneficial and expressed positive responses toward the educational activity.

Keywords : Kefir Popsicle, Natural Food Colorant, Butterfly Pea Flower (Clitoria ternatea L.)
Tri Yanuarto Dewi Winni Fauzziah Febryan Hari Purwanto Bunga Citra Lestari Adelia Zalfa Mumtazah Emylia Agustin Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Indonesia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-30 2026-07-30 6 01 SOSIALISASI PEMBUATAN KOPI DAN TEH HERBAL BIJI PETAI CINA UNTUK PENCEGAHAN CACINGAN PADA MASYARAKAT DESA JAWA TENGAH KECAMATAN SUNGAI AMBAWANG KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/japin/article/view/250
One of the health problems currently being faced by the government is worm infestation. This is caused by poor environmental sanitation in the community. Petai cina seeds contain bioactive compounds such as mimosine, leucanin, protein, and leucanol, which have various benefits, including as an anthelmintic. The use of petai cina seeds as a traditional anthelmintic has been known for a long time. This Community Service (PkM) activity is designed to socialize the production of coffee and herbal tea from petai cina seeds. This program aims to educate the people of Central Java Village about the importance of preventing worm diseases through the use of local herbal plants, while also introducing innovative health products in the form of tea and coffee from petai cina seeds. The socialization carried out in Central Java Village is one of Akfar Yarsi's contributions in helping the government reduce the incidence of worm infestation. The community service was carried out by providing socialization materials to PKK mothers, followed by a knowledge evaluation. Based on the evaluation, there was a significant increase in knowledge among PKK mothers after receiving the socialization materials (p<0.05). This aligns with the established output target of increasing mothers' knowledge about the use of local herbal plants. The women who have received this outreach are expected to be able to utilize local herbal plants and introduce innovative health products, such as tea and coffee made from petai cina seeds, to the wider community in Central Java villages
Dian Kartikasari weni Puspita Ika Ristia Rahman Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Indonesia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-30 2026-07-30 6 01 HEALTH EDUCATION AND SCREENINGS (BLOOD PRESSURE AND BLOOD SUGAR) https://jkfn.akfaryarsiptk.ac.id/index.php/japin/article/view/247
Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are chronic conditions that require special attention because they can exacerbate each other’s effects on health.
