PENGUATAN PENGETAHUAN SANTRI TENTANG DAGUSIBU DALAM MENDUKUNG SWAMEDIKASI YANG RASIONAL

Abstract

Self-medication by the community can be a factor in irrational drug use. This is due to the limited knowledge possessed by the community. Self-medication behavior tends to be carried out based on experience and information possessed. Inaccuracy in recognizing the disease will result in errors in choosing drugs. The purpose of community service at this Islamic boarding school is to provide strengthening knowledge about how to get, use, store and dispose of medicine (Dagusibu) to students. The methods used are games, lectures, and discussions. The results of the activities carried out can increase students' knowledge about Dagisibu at Maemun al-Hidayah Kubu Raya Islamic Boarding School students, West Kalimantan. Similar activities need to be carried out with more specific treatment materials for diseases that often appear in Islamic boarding schools.
