Abstract
Helminthiasis remains a significant public health concern, particularly among children. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge of residents in Mega Timur Village, Kubu Raya Regency, regarding helminthiasis prevention through the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) and the utilization of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) as a local medicinal plant with potential anthelmintic properties. The program was conducted through health education, lectures, and interactive discussions. The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of the risk factors, prevention of helminthiasis, and the potential use of turmeric as a preventive measure. This evidence-based educational program, combined with the utilization of local natural resources, is expected to enhance community health literacy and encourage sustainable helminthiasis prevention practices.
