HEALTH CHECK DURING THE WEEK OF THE 38TH PATELKI ANNIVERSARY OF THE SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA AT THE SULTAN AGUNG STADIUM, BANTUL, YOGYAKARTA IN 2024

Abstract
The control of non-communicable diseases can be carried out through prevention, control, and handling of non-communicable diseases and their consequences, this is done to increase knowledge, awareness, desire to behave healthily, and prevent the occurrence of non-communicable diseases and their consequences to reduce the number of sick, disabled, and/or dead in the world, and to reduce the social and economic impacts of non-communicable diseases. The control of non-communicable diseases can be supported by conducting basic health checks. The purpose of this community service is to conduct basic health checks such as monitoring blood pressure, blood sugar levels, uric acid and cholesterol for free in the context of the 38th PATELKI Anniversary. The implementation of this community service was carried out by lecturers involving D3 Medical Laboratory Technology students. This community service activity was carried out on May 12, 2024 at the Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium. This health check uses the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. The results of the health check in this community service showed that the average blood pressure, blood sugar levels, uric acid, and cholesterol in men were 121/73; 137; 6.7; 197 mg/dL and women 115/60; 124; 6.2; 200mg/dL. The conclusion of the results of blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid and cholesterol examination activities can be used to determine the health status of the community.
